We Need You!
Dear Members
The Finance and Management Committee has come to the conclusion that, due to the current financial restraints gripping the country and given that this situation will probably continue for several years to come, the Club will not be able to generate sufficient income to build on its capital reserves to have funds available to complete the refurbishment of the remainder of the interior of the Club.
With this in mind the committee is considering setting up a refurbishment fund where monies raised for this purpose can be held for this specific purpose.
This is where we need your help!!!!! By suggesting ideas on ways of attracting regular income to boost such a fund.
One idea suggested by the committee is to run a type of a 200 club; would you be willing to support this?
One thought I have had is if every member visited the Club once a week and purchased a drink, and if regular visitors purchased one additional drink a week averaging £2 (excluding VAT) a go, the Club would generate an additional income estimated at £55K per annum. Just think, in just 3 years we would generate sufficient funds to complete the refurbishment!
It is YOUR club – its future is in your hands! Use it more regularly and we can provide an attractive environment for you to socialise in and maintain the attractively low cost of our drinks.
