Guest Ales 50 up!
The Club is pleased to announce that its members have now had the opportunity to sample over 50 different guest ales so far this year. In addition to the two regular house ales, the guest ale policy in the Club has been very successful and means the Club has probably offered during the year the best selection of draught cask ales in the local area. Thanks to the care of our excellent bar staff, and the fact that you consume the beers very quickly, the ales are always of excellent quality. The guest ale policy has clearly been very popular with the membership.
Many of our younger Club members who try the cask ales find they are different and tasty, and are a lot cheaper than the traditional lagers on offer.
We are hoping to exceed last year’s record of 78 real ales sold in the calendar year and we hope to sell in excess of 1000 gallons of cask guest ale this year. If you haven’t tried many of these ales so far help us to achieve these goals by getting down to the Club and enjoying the new guest ales available.
If you are not a member of Goring Social Club, this could be a good time to join!
