Mel’s Night – £463.40 Pounds Raised for Helen and Douglas House
On Friday 17th October Goring Social Club was full to the rafters for a night in memory of Mel Howarth who was a long standing member of the club. The night was in aid of the club charity, Helen and Douglas House, who provide hospice care for children and young people who have life shortening conditions such as cancer . They also provide much needed support for their families.

It was thoroughly enjoyable evening and prizes had been donated by Mel’s friends and family for a raffle which raised the fantastic sum of £463.40 for the charity . Mel’s family would like to thank everyone who donated prizes and participated in the evening.
